Research & Development Engineering

Ryan Welty has led breakthrough medical device research and development, and has over 20 years of experience in bringing products from concept to market. Prior to joining Cardio Flow in 2018, Ryan worked across a range of therapies including cardiovascular (Boston Scientific and Cardiovascular Systems, Inc., now part of Abbott), pulmonary (Uptake Medical), and men’s health (NxThera, now part of Boston Scientific).

In addition to those roles, he has also provided technical insight to multiple clients through his consulting firm, Welty Engineering Inc., and holds 7 U.S. patents for medical device innovations.
