Steve Crowell is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in sales management, known for his instrumental role in driving shareholder value for numerous start-up medical device companies. In his most recent position as District Sales Manager for Cardio Flow, Inc., Steve spearheaded the successful commercial launch of the transformative FreedomFlow atherectomy platform, including developing and managing clinical support and working closely with senior executives to achieve sales goals.

Drawing from a rich background spanning various start-ups—including FoxHollow Technologies, Inc. (acquired by ev3 inc.), Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. (acquired by Abbott), and Athromed/Volcano (acquired by Philips)—Steve has amassed invaluable experience in launching and propelling disruptive technologies into nascent markets, with a strategic, tactical, and leadership acumen that has been instrumental in fostering market growth. His collaborative approach extends to creating close partnerships with clinical and regulatory teams, ensuring the seamless integration of products into healthcare ecosystems.

Over his 20-year career, Steve has navigated commercial and clinical-stage companies, including sales, marketing, market development, and customer service roles in the coronary, peripheral, and neurosurgery sectors—leading new product development and driving widespread adoption of innovative technologies and procedures.

Steven’s academic foundation includes a B.S. degree from Western Michigan University.
